The sphere was created through an intensive process of six separate resin pours to achieve the clarity and depth you see here. Once cured, it was hand-sanded and finished with a final clear coat for a glass-like surface. The base was then carefully leveled, sanded, and secured to antique brass hardware with a final resin pour for a seamless attachment.

This piece is especially meaningful to me—it perfectly matches my own love for bold black-and-white patterns and striped natural forms. It’s one of my personal favorites I’ve made, which makes it a little bittersweet to let go. That said, I’m so excited for it to live in a home that appreciates both its aesthetic and the time, patience, and care that went into creating it.

If you look closely at the underside, you may notice a very subtle blemish. During the finishing process, I slightly over-sanded the attachment area, but it has since been sealed with a clear top coat and blends in smoothly with the rest of the piece.
